Jul 2011 20

Hello folks,

I wanted to take this time to address some information that I have sent out in regards to my current status with the new “Service With A Style” album, My other projects with “Grey Matter” & “The Body Electric”, tour dates and show appearances and so forth.

1. In regards to the album, it has been pushed back and as of right now there is no official release date as to when the album will be released. All of the material is currently done, but minor things with the albums layout is taking a lot more time then expected. I am here to apologize for anyone who has been waiting on the album, but myself and the rest of my staff are doing our best to make sure this project comes out the right way not only for my enjoyment, but for yours as well.

2. My current statuses with “The Body Electric” and “Grey Matter” are as follows. Some members of “The Body Electric”, including myself, were amped in seeing if we can officially create our first full length album. Some band members have put this notion on the side and have been doing things otherwise. I was planning to take most of this summer in finishing the project with the rest of the band mates, but as it stands there hasn’t been a full agreement and dedication with everyone to complete the material. As of right now, “The Body Electric” is on a permanent hiatus and will not be getting together anytime soon. With “Grey Matter”, myself and Urbalist have had minor setbacks in our personal journeys as artists. Urb traveled from NJ and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA where he is out there on a new journey with his record label Seany Records. We still keep in contact and are still planning on working together in releasing our first project. We currently don’t know when. Some of the material we have worked on needs to be touched up a bit and also we need to get ourselves together to brainstorm more for new material, but as of right now we are tearing up the underground hip hop scene in two different coasts.

3. In the middle of all of this hub-bub, I have been still doing shows. One of my most recent, notable shows since taking a break from updating you fans from the website has been performing this past April at Rutgersfest 2011 where I (Dirty Mac) opened for Yelawolf, 3OH!3 and Pitbull in front of 30,000 + students & fans in my home state of NJ. On  July 23, 2011, I will be rocking at Frankensound Studios in North Brunswick, NJ for “The Fortissimo Project: Jam Out Loud” event. More info about the event is available by clicking on the link here. On other things, there will be a music video for my first single from the album “Serivce With Style” coming out. There will also be an iTunes application for Dirty Mac music soon to be available. All of these things are currently in the works. There are currently t-shirts of Dirty Mac on sale at Knexthedotz.com. I am doing shows around the NJ area and will be making more trips around the rest of the east coast as time progress. If you haven’t already, Become a fan of Dirty Mac clicking on the link here.

I will do my best in keeping my loyal fans and friends up to date with new and exciting events, music and projects and keeping up to date on it in the near future.
